About Us

Looking Glass Bookkeeping is owned and operated by me, Walter Ingham, and occasionally by my wife, Bethany. She tries to avoid it as much as possible because bookkeeping is boring, and our kids are anything but.

I’m a software/systems engineer and product owner, working for a large DoD contractor in Colorado Springs. My BS is in Computer Science, my MS is in Data Science, and I’m currently working on my PhD in Strategic Management, where I am using my dissertation to validate the same root-cause analysis framework I use at Looking Glass Bookkeeping to deliver financial and business insights.

I started Looking Glass Bookkeeping because I like helping people, and I genuinely dislike being an employee. My employer and co-workers are awesome, but I just enjoy working where my work can have the most positive impact. In a Fortune 100 company, that’s usually not the case. Small to medium businesses not only need people to track their finances, but also to make sense of what’s happening with them. I have the skill set to take your data and deliver insights that others can’t, because I’m using a proprietary framework that nobody else in the world knows about… yet.
